CANADA 150 ANNIVERSARY Rendition of 2017 Loonie Dollar on Royal Canadian Mint Medallions 2-Coin Set

To celebrate the 150th Anniversary of Canada, the Merrick Mint has released a two coin set featuring original Royal Canadian Mint medallions with colorized images of 2017 Canadian Loonie. Coins feature colorized images of Niagra Falls at both day and night. Each medallion on the back features Maple Leafs and the words Canada. The 150th anniversary of Canada, also known as the 150th anniversary of Confederation and promoted by the Canadian government as Canada 150, occurred in 2017 as Canada marked the sesquicentennial anniversary of Canadian Confederation. The 2-medallion set has been beautifully enhanced with colorized images by the Merrick Mint. The 2-medallion set comes with a full color Certificate of Authenticity with each medallion coming in a premium coin capsule. These medallions have been colorized with an application of special inks directly to the surface, using a unique and painstakingly multicolor process, which achieves a level of detail, color saturation, and durability that is #1 in the industry. Each medallion is about the same size as a U.S. Half Dollar coin and features Canada Maple Leafs design on the reverse and a colorized image on the obverse.
